We respect privacy and do not collect data from users except as necessary to maintain and develop the product.

The mobile app reads your device's location and stores those locations on your device. We do not claim ownership of your location data. We do not automatically collect your location information.

If you choose to use the Import/Export Locations functionality, your locations will be sent and temporarily stored on Land Nav Assistant servers so you can transfer them between devices through an Import/Export Code. The Import/Export Code is short-lived and randomized, and only contains your entered locations. The Import/Export data does not contain information about you or your device outside of your location details (name of the location, lat/lon, mgrs coordinate, etc). You have a responsibility to safeguard generated codes, and they should only be shared with trusted devices.

We do not permanently store any user data, device information, location data, on Land Nav Assistant servers.

Locations are only saved within your device's application when you prompt the app to save them. Locations are never collected except when you choose to use the Export functionality.

The Export functionality may email a spreadsheet of your locations to you, or give you a code to retrieve them on the Land Nav Assistant website.
